I've been watching some Japanese dramas recently.
I just watched the last episode of Tsuhanman. The English title is Shopping Hero. It's one of those oddball dramas that doesn't focus too much on relationships. Just how I like it.
It's about a very very quiet and ordinary guy who becomes a late-night shopping superhero. He gives these awesome spiels to save the troubled lives of his colleagues. Things he wouldn't dare to say unless behind a fake mask.
Anyway, I notice more people complaining about others being "fake" these days. I've done it too. But why don't you just tell them that they're being "fake" in their face? It's because you're being fake too. But that's ok right? If people weren't being "fake" we'd be in the middle of World War 23.
Sometimes you have to say the truth... But like the Blue Hearts say, every real moment you live will scare you to death.
Fearing death in itself can give people the courage to live those moments. You're gonna fall over and die one day, so you'd better try living those moments. Else you'll run out of time.
I'm just being sappy and rambling after the end of a show I enjoyed. Possibly to my embarrassment. But I have to say I really like this over-emotional and positive kick I get from some shows.
...Where's my next drama?
