Here's the thing though.
It's one thing to be diplomatic sociable, but another to be fake.

And I'm not talking 'I don't like the color of your shoes but I won't say that to upset you.' I think that's perfectly fine.

I'm talking "Boy I really don't like you at all one bit but I'm still hanging out with you."

And because of that, it just makes it harder when you're trying to be honest. That honesty put forward will most likely either disregarded, or be met with a request for further proof.

Perhaps it may be easier to be a tsuhanman.

yeah i kinda agree. i was just raving with a bunch of rhetorical questions.

people in general should just chillax.

you too! just sit back n dont worry bout ppl who disregard your words. it's a waste of time and energy .
however honest u are people always have the choice to do what they want anyway...

Point.

I mean, I may not like it, but I do understand that it's the standing in the real world. You can't just rock the boat without having consequence to yourself.

That doesn't mean that it doesn't frustrate people. :P
I've stopped putting any words out these days anyways, other than my rants which is just a journalization for self reflection.

Gotta try to get tsuhanman.

Oh, by the way, I don't quite like the color of your shoes. (^_~)

we like these kinds of straight arrow shonen jump heroes because of precisely that quality - its the judicious righteousness of innocent honesty (even if at times somewhat naive)

I do not fear hurting a person's feelings, emotional pain makes you level up and class change so long as you don't implode, ultimately learning the truth about yourself is a good thing - better than being the subject of whispers and vicious back talk for years until somebody finally has the guts to tell you to go away

In the stories the braggart might learn and grow by these truths, and become a better person, but in reality unfortunately there's no guarantee of that... I think the weariness of trying and failing is what makes people put on these masks and work together to sail the boat

Still, honesty is a virtue and the kind of honesty you talk about I still think is something we all gotta work at... not to necessarily get in punch ups, but to make it clear about where you stand with someone else right?

yeah :3

it's like when people think they should say something, but don't have the courage to... they should just say it anyway.

it's not the end of the world if you make a fool of urself. or temporarily hurt someone's feelings. or get dumped. it's normally for the good. something like that.

its a lot better getting dumped or hurting somebody's feelings than lying... when you're young your parents tell you what they call little white lies - things that just make life easier for them and nicer for you... all the while preaching the virtue of honesty... some people get over this kind of dishonesty, most people I would say go on to utilising these cleverly dishonest technologies themselves...

But I would hope that deep down, most people still want to be the righteous hero that always speaks the truth and defends the down trodden, defying the deceitful and living honestly... there's been a period in time that I think we're still in where people are still enamoured with the concept of villainy and the reality of it is, that it kinda sucks
