I just want to say how excited I am to go to heaven and leave this earth and its sorrows behind!  It will be wonderful to just praise Jesus all day long!

I used to think that Labor Day was one big joke.  Seriously.  Only in America would we just throw our hands up and say to the world "we get one day when we don't get to do anything but grill out because we work hard throughout the rest of the year"

Yesterday I spent the day helping out at a homeless shelter in Minneapolis. While we were there, this strange man came up to me and said "what is something that all of us have in common?" I'm in Michigan - finally. This past week has been one for the record books!

-moving out
-not knowing if I'll have a job in the new year
-flying to Michigan
-learning from my students

but what does it matter now? I'm in Michigan and it is Christmas Break! I'm ready to let loose and try to relax as much as possible!

Yeah, yesterday was a blast. We went down to Hunington Beach and had breakfast at some Hawaiian restaurant. I had the biggest omellete in the world. Have you ever heard of Portuguese sausage?
