Looking out for number one . . . California!!!
Yeah, yesterday was a blast. We went down to Hunington Beach and had breakfast at some Hawaiian restaurant. I had the biggest omellete in the world. Have you ever heard of Portuguese sausage? Yeah, me neither. I had it, and it was good. Did a bit of shopping on the strip - saw a lot of hot girls. Then it was off to Seal Beach to play a bit of football in the white sand for as far as your eye can see. It was too hot so we went in the water, which is a chilling 62 degrees. We got a call from our aunt and uncle that it was time to go surfing so we hopped in their beamer and headed back to Hunington to catch some waves. I actually got up and I surfed! It was one of the most invigerating experiences I've had in my life. The feel of riding the wave was amazing. But my chest was so sore from rubbing against the board and all of my awesome wipeouts that I couldn't sleep on my stomach last night. When we got back from surfing, my aunt and uncle grilled steak and chicken, and I had a baked sweet potato. I acutally ate it too, can you believe it? Me, eating potatoes? Crazy. After dinner, we broke out the Margarita Mix and the José. My uncle broke out the cubans and we had ourselves a grand ol' time. Came back inside for some more ritas and watched Zoolander. I feel asleep on the couch and woke up when everyone else was in bed, so I crawled into bed and woke up with a hangover (again). My aunt and I just went for a walk on the pier. Today we're going sailing to Newport Beach. Can I just say how much I love the OC? I'm going to have some more yogurt and watch the Spanish news channel. I can really get used to this lifestyle.
