Today I met a girl from New Jersey when I was out looking at a flat to move into…I have to move at the end of the month, our lease here isn't being renewed. The flat wasn't too impressive, but I'm taking a look at a couple other ones later today. So, apparently I'm now incapable of surviving the waning of August without registering for classes at a university, any university! We just had an amazingly sunny and warm weekend here in Edinburgh, which I am happy to say I took full advantage of.
Saturday morning I went to the Australian themed pub not too far from where I live to watch a rugby game at about 8:30, then I went straight to Usher Hall to buy a ticket to see Dylan Moran when he’s here for the Fringe in August ( Read more... )

I’m now all moved in to my new flat, just a ten minute walk from work and super close to a Sainsburys and other shops. My flat is really cool so far, and my roommates seem nice, but we hardly get a chance to talk with all of us working.

I am now working full time (me, whose personal motto is Dolce Far Niente) at a place called Valcona and Crolla. I work in the office, answering the phone, taking orders, and doing office-y stuff from 8-5 everyday (weekends off).
