Letter - King & Prince - Cover
Hi! Again, I'm procrastinating ... as usual XD actually, I have something to do, before going on my short trip, and yet, I'm here doing this... but I really loved this cover, and I remember this was a song that made it to my list and I never got the time to do it.
This is a unit song from Kinpuri's first album, I believe, this is sung... well, Michi mentions this on the video, but it's sung by Renren, Kishi, and Jin, it's so much easier to write Jin, lol, so, it's a super sweet song, and I love the melody and despite being a little too much I really like it. I'll leave the translation, or my try here, kanji from here, and later on a couple of notes, I think, my impressions and two performances, both pretty nice~

[T/N]: It's been a while since I write some notes XD ~ First of all, I want to mention that there are two instances in which I'm not fully satisfied with the resulting sentence, but I couldn't find a way it sounded normal in English. The first one is in the first stanza, I started with something like "What kind of you will I see today?" and I wanted to phrase it like "what will be your reaction?" or "how are you going to react?" 'cause the main event here it's like a confession or a first date, due to the anticipation, but also because I've just listened to a little of a conversation between Renren and Kishi in a radio show, and they mention this could be the occasion of a first date. The second instance is the "To you, who's looking more beautiful than ever, " this part is like he mentions that she's looking the most beautiful he's seen her that far or ever, and Renren takes this sentence and compares it to the moment of the wedding like that's the moment in which she'll look the most beautiful. So, I'm not sure if that's where the whole meaning is going? like "I want to be worthy of marrying you"? Maybe? That's cute~
Now, one more thing, I made two versions of the part with the how strong he's become part...because well, I wasn't sure. And Kishi mentions that his favorite part is the one when he mentions he doesn't take things for granted, and my favorite part is the "I promise", lol, but that's just because it's so high!! LOL, I'll mention this a little more in my comments on the performances.
And that's it, on my notes, I think it's a cute and simple song, I'm guessing his present has a sort of letter, or otherwise, I don't get the connection to the title of the song XD
Now, on the performances, this song was, of course, sung during their first concert, with Jin playing the guitar, and they did a similar presentation on Shokura, I had the date because I was looking for it a lot... it was 2019 December... but it was really hard to find...and I got it in very low quality. Unrelated, but I try to avoid Shokura because I always fall in love with one performance and this happens and I'll run out of space pretty soon. Anyways, now, a couple of weeks ago, Daigo and Michi made a cover of this song, the short version, and here it is, Michi explains the reason why he wanted to do this LOL and then I'll leave Kinpuri's performance, so you can see how cute Renren actually looks.

Now, I really like both performances, for Daigo and Michi's cover, I think it fits just nicely, I like Michi is playing the guitar and he's the one singing the "I promise", overall, I fell in love again with the song. Oh, btw congrats to Michi for playing Kinda-go! I was sure of it after Tsuyo mentioned this while commenting on previous Countdown shows. I'm so proud of him :D
Now, on the original unit, well, there's nothing more to say, they made me fall in love with this song to start with, it always surprises me how high Kinpuri can go with a song! It's a pity but in this performance, which is even shorter than Daigo-Michi's one, they didn't include the "I promise" part, which is Renren singing so high!! He and Jin are able to go super high with no problems! wow...
That's it, I'm leaving because I have to do some timing!! but I won't leave without the fanart that made me want to write this whole thing + encoding because is so beautiful!!

I'm aware of some dramas going on, but after talking to myself I resolve it's not worthing mentioning those XD, at least not now, and I rather watch some doramas, I loved the one with the aromantic couple, I always forget the name of the actor, he's so good~
