Does not moving away from your hometown (at least for a while) to go to college (or the military, etc.) stunt a person's social development? Is college so important to the culture of young adults that those who don't participate are left in a social vacuum that prevents them from maturing? This semester is all but over: I took my Greek final and had my last day of Spirituality on Monday, I turned in my Greek and Latin papers on Friday, and I led my last discussion for Christianity and Culture on Friday. A little bit about my life of late: a week and a half ago I got a graduate work-study job for the School of Nursing. They say that their undergraduate records are in a state of semi-chaos and I will be organizing them (lots of Excel work), a task that will be very easy for me. In WA, I double the tax, which makes about 17%. Here in D.C. I do 15% of the bill.

Approximately $2250

The cost of the Budget truck was about $900 of that, about $300 of which was for insurance. The rest was for gasoline, food, lodging, and entertainment (Blueteeth, iPod car charger, CDs).

For those of you that don't already know (and I'm assuming that you all already know), I now live in Spokane. I'm going to Gonzaga University, a Jesuit college (in the humanistic tradition, apparently), to get an MA in religious studies.
