Pieces for this have been sitting on my desk for wayyy too long, like a year or more. Now I've got the last little bits necessary to put this together. it's a base for the old Forgeworld Flying Hive Tyrant.

Just bought a pack of the old 40K2-era Tyranid Rippers on ebay for the old 90s price. Gonna use them to weigh down the base on a Spawn of Cryptus model.

Assembled and based some Judge Dredd models, then took a trip down memory lane with these ancient Rogue Trader figures. Most of them date from 1987 or so. I even have loads of some Zoats and even some metal Rogue Trader Space Marines from when GW reissued those figures very briefly in the 2000s. You better believe I headed down to Games Workshop: Park Plaza to put in my pre-order for the new Space Hulk. Cost me a pretty penny, but oh so worth it... Now all I need is a spare set of the Space Marines for my Ultramarine army and a spare Broodlord for my Tyranid army.
