Just bought a pack of the old 40K2-era Tyranid Rippers on ebay for the old 90s price. Gonna use them to weigh down the base on a Spawn of Cryptus model.

Feels pretty good putting paintbrush to model for the first time in two years. I picked up a set of Assault on Black Reach on ebay for a good price.Most of the models hadn't been touched at all, except for the Dreadnought. And even then the kid only took a few stabs at it with a few different shades of blue. I decided the paint wasn't that thick ( Read more... )

I took a trip to Games Workshop: Park Plaza to buy the new limited edition Stormclaw box set, but as it turns out, it's not coming in until next week. So I grabbed two boxes of Rider of Rohan instead. It pains me to pay retail for figures, but Lord of the Rings figures are so out of print, they're selling for retail on ebay anyway, so whatever.
