What are some of the most strange/ridiculous/funny responses to telling family/friends that you're childfree and have no intention of having children?

This was spurred by my father's reaction when I asked him if he was ok with not getting grandkids.
His response: "Eh, if you have them I'll probably be dead before you do so it doesn't matter anyway

Why yes, co-worker who shall remain nameless, I would be delighted to cancel my plans at the last minute and come work for you tomorrow so you can babysit your sick grandson.
