I haven't caught up on what to expect when you're 32 weeks expecting, but something tells me that this is the week when I stop caring about what's going on at school and just think about baby nonstop. Of course, I wake up at 4:45 on a day like to day, to actually be awake and ready to answer when the phone rings, announcing the snow day. There are some days, man, when I wish I could work with the kids who get it. Working with the kids that don't get middle school can be rough!

Today, when I told the 6th graders we'd all be Britney Spears today by using "Britney Spears microphones" to record their reading, one girl said, "Why don't you just stab scissors in our ears?" haha

today i wore dangly earrings for the first time! they were the cute lil snowflake ones betsy bought me for christmas. i thought for sure one of the little girls in my class would love them. but then when I got to school I realized one of them was missing. :( gone for good! boo ( Read more... )
