Snow day!
Of course, I wake up at 4:45 on a day like to day, to actually be awake and ready to answer when the phone rings, announcing the snow day. Of course I'm more productive and energetic today of all days this week! I could have probably used this snow day earlier this week, when my fever was running about 101 and we were in the middle of a field trip up to Flint. But it's kind of nice to have this healthy, happy day off, now that I've trudged through the drudgery of working through being sick. And since I'm awake with all this momentum, papers will be graded, dishes will be washed, laundry will be done, baby's room will be prepped for painting, and Doug and I are going to the movies!
