Well, I've survived my first two weeks back in the world of working stiffs.

Last night was the famed Santa Pub Crawl. Last year I had a drink (sometimes two) at each stop and got so hammered that I could barely see. I had my first father's day where I was an actual father.  Pretty nifty.

It was nice and laid back.  I strapped The Boy to my back and we did some yard work.  Thinned out the front bamboo grove and helped our super nice neighbor trim the GIANT laurel hedges that separate our properties.  At lunch, onewhohugstrees, angiela_la, 0_dub & and I (Atticus too) had a nice picnic lunch ( Read more... )

Owen had his first taste of "real" food last night.  onewhohugstrees  and angiela_la  mixed up some rice and boob juice concoction for him to try.  I don't think he was quite sure what to make of it, but some of it made it into his mouth and some of that may have even been swallowed.  I snapped a few pics of the momentous occasion, but the pics are still on the camera.

It was a beautiful weekend.  Chilly, but very sunny.  I even got a little bit of yardwork done on Sunday.  We took Atticus to the dog park both days.  He kept getting all snarly with some dogs on Sunday for some reason.  He usually gets along with most dogs, but had a serious attitude.
