sunny weekend and work irritants
It was a beautiful weekend. Chilly, but very sunny. I even got a little bit of yardwork done on Sunday. We took Atticus to the dog park both days. He kept getting all snarly with some dogs on Sunday for some reason. He usually gets along with most dogs, but had a serious attitude. He still listened when I called his name and said, "Here!", but it was a little out of character for him. I couldn't tell what he issue was. He played like normal with his pal this morning when we went out for exercise. Crazy dog.
I went to the Microbrew Festival across the street at the fairgrounds Saturday night. I tasted tons of good beers and an equal amount of not-so-good ones. I actually became too full before I became too drunk. I ran into lots of people I knew and one of my friend's beers actually won an award. I'm proud to say that I was the one who infected him with the homebrew bug. Go, Saul!
I heard that we may actually get snow sometime this week.

My day started out pretty good. I had an email from boromere saying that I'd won the contest he put on. Yay me!
Most of the day was pretty average, but busy. Now, however ...
It's almost 8pm and I'm still at work after having come back after going to class. I had a "small" amount of work to finish up before I went home. It was just supposed to be me checking stuff out of a SVN repository (as opposed to our usual CVS repository). Needless to say, nothing went the way it was supposed to and now I'll probably be here until 8:30ish. It wouldn't have been a big deal, but I'm basically in isolation at my current location. For some reason, they saw fit to move me and my (now former) posting partner first. About a month ahead of everyone else. So until they finally get the rest of the department over here, my source(s) of knowledge and training is across town. Good thing their a good group of people or else it'd be impossible. Instead it's merely amazingly irritatiing.
I also have a certain task to do this evening that can't be done until after 11pm PST. I usually have one or two items that need to be processed a couple times a week. Tonight I have seven. feh.
