Maybe Mistaken

I don't know. I was sort of in a situation where I was damned if I did and damned if I didn't. Or maybe not...because corporations have no feelings. They don't give a crap about you. And at any time, you can get into their game if you do the right thing. There was a reason to go to work tonight. My first ever usher shift was there for me to work. It's better than concession cause...I think you can figure it out. But corporations have no feelings. All they want is you there to make sure everything runs smoothly so customers will be happy and come back again with their money. So, ultimately, that was what made me decide to just do it. Go to the reception. Leave with a story. The story is there were some people I didn't know were coming who respect me, like me, and are friendly to me. As an usher, it was hard for me to find a way to just split. And really, I don't have to be okay with this yet. I can still be on my own clock for getting used to this but I do owe my dad one day where I say "Dad, good luck."

Favorite quote from my dad's 'addition': "Why do I always have to get married on hot days? I mean, last time I got married..."

Yea, she's been passed around a few times.
