Chris is on a Cub Scout camping trip with the twins. Virginia and I stayed home because we have a Girl Scout outing today. So far, he has reported forgetting Sam's Pack tshirt, the eyepiece to our telescope, and the orange juice that they were going to have for breakfast. After last weekend being amazing, this weekend sucks.  What was supposed to happen:  Sam and Chris go to Cub-O-Ree (huge Cub Scout camp out), Natalie going to her friend's house for a sleepover, and Virginia having 7 girls over for a birthday sleepover for her very first sleepover.

I haven't done a full post in a while.  It's not like I haven't had the time.  The short ones are all in school now so I have oodles of it.  I just, well, haven't.  Well, today is laundry day and I am avoiding the sheet changing part of it so now is a good time.  This is going to be long.

We went to pick Virginia up this morning and boy was she bouncy.  It rained ALL NIGHT LONG!  Everything was soaked thru and mixed up.  We brought home someone elses' jeans and only one blue sock.  Her washcloth and towel are missing, too.  But she had a great time ( Read more... )

My sweet little girl is having her first Girl Scout camp out tonite.  I dropped her off at 6 pm and will pick her up at 8:30 am.  I packed her back pack, sleeping bag, pillow, bear, etc. and left her at Heritage Farms in Plano.  It is less than 5 minutes from here.  She was excited but scared.  There will be 4 adults and 20 girls.  The troop leader ( Read more... )
