Yesterday I turned in my keys and access card and parking pass. At two o'clock in the afternoon they brought out and cut a half sheet cake, nice chocolate with chocolate buttercream and caramel between the layers. "Good Luck Frank." Just about everybody in the department stopped up to The Roost to shake my hand and/or hug me and say goodbye. I

Took my love to the airport this morning at about 4:40. Just as I pulled up to drop him off there, my left front tire went woobita woobita and was absolutely flat. The airport service truck tried to fill it, but it was pretty much shredded. I went to put on the donut spare but couldn't get the lug nuts undone. The smaller of the two service guys

I took him to the train station at 12:30 am. I was back in J&G's house and asleep by the time the Empire Builder went by, four blocks from here, carrying him away.
