Lucy just came in here all in pink, with a pink bandana and a sign attached to her shirt: "The Pink Pirate - RARRRRR!" and then she ARRRRR ed at me!

Then she very sweetly said, "Can you read my sign? " I did, and she said "Thank you!" and wandered off...

She loves cows and yells COW, MOO when we see them in our travels. I was looking at the county fair site today and she saw pictures of horses - they are apparently "HEE-HEES!!!"

She isn't signing very much anymore, even though she doesn't have a ton of words yet. I mean, she does, but she doesn't speak in sentences. She often grabs my hands and starts making me do what she wants, or pushes me in the direction she wants to go. She also IS repeating every word she hears, which is super cute ( Read more... )

This baby! She is absolutely not satisfied with any kind of easy snacks - cut up fruit, crackers, toddler snacks, what have you. No. She demands real, hot food for all 3 meals. Lucy broke through a top molar! I knew she was teething and her gums were all swollen, but didn't know where the first one would pop through. She woke up at 5 and after tossing and turning, we got up at 6:15. I had planned on studying for an hour this morning but this blew my plan. Lucy just walked the whole way across our kitchen about 25 times! From not being able to stand up without pulling on something, she is standing up on her own and taking more than 10 steps!

We were all there and cheered her on; she got a real kick out of it! Of course, the second I started video taping, she got tired ;)

Just got stung by a bee :( I puffy heart my doctor though. I paged her b/c I'm deathly allergic and she called right back and gave me the Benadryl and Motrin dose and said I was doing all the right things and that was a perfect reason to page her and not to feel bad ( Read more... )
