Outside Pixie Cabin, Friday Afternoon

Angela had shipped almost all of her stuff home, but it wasn't time to leave for her flight yet. The last of her luggage was stacked just inside the cabin living room. Outside the cabin, she sat on the ground near the campfire, poking at the ashes with a stick and thinking.

Anders was tired of goodbyes, and he had, quite possibly, a whole summer of them to look forward to.

So it wasn't out of any kind of discourtesy that he addressed Angela so tersely when he came by.

"Your turn today, huh?" he asked, hands in his pockets as he leaned against a nearby tree.

[OOC: SP on and off, as I'll be in and out for errands and such, if that's okay?]

"My turn," Angela agreed unhappily. "it came so, so fast."

[OOC: No problem!]

"It's unreal, almost," Anders said. "Seemed like something that was so far off for so long, and then all of a sudden bam, it's time to go. And gods, now it's my last year, and it's so not going to be the same with all of you guys gone. I know we didn't hang out as much as we used to, but I'm still gonna miss you, Chase."

And somehow Anders was making her cry. "I'm gonna miss you too, Anders," she said, staring at her feet again. "Bam," she echoed. "At least I know the school's in good hands."

"Hi," Angela said, smiling sightly. "How was the not-a-date with Johnny?"

"It's a good restaurant," Angela nodded. "So ... you know I'll be back for, like, Homecoming and stuff, right?"

Before heading back to her cabin to get ready for the luau, Isabel stopped by Pixie. "All packed?"

"I even took a lot of the stuff to the post office this morning to ship it," Angela said. "So ... it's just one suitcase and my cat. Weird."

"I can imagine," she nodded. "Want a dye job for the road?"

Angela tugged on the ends of her hair, trying to see the color. "A touch-up?" she said. "And thanks. I'm going to miss ... well, I'll miss YOU anyhow, but I'll really miss this."

Bel quite likely hadn't been told. But Anders knew, and since he and Angela were in the same cabin anyway, it was hard to miss. So he cautiously approached Angela, keeping his distance so as to not alarm her. "Um. Hi," he said.

Angela glanced up curiously. She hadn't really talked to Belthazor since he kidnapped her.

But she could almost believe he had changed. Maybe.

"Hi," she said, flatly.

"I saw you were leaving," Bel said awkwardly. "And I just wanted to tell you I'm sorry. About what happened."

Angela's eyes went back to the ashes. "Yeah, I heard that wasn't exactly you anyhow," she said. "But thanks for apologizing."

Xander made his way to the camp for the first time in years, finding Angela's cabin less via her directions than with a little help from the ferret currently sitting on his shoulder.

"Hey, you."

"Hey," Angela said a little wanly. "Can't believe it's my turn to say goodbye already it feels so soon."

Bridge gives Angela a little wave. She hadn't been around the first time he'd been a ferret, so he knew she wouldn't recognise him. //Tell her I say hi!// he says to Xander.

"LOLFERRET Bridge says hi and then conveniently flees for work," Xander dutifully repeated, pointing to his wee shoulder-passenger.
