Outside Pixie Cabin, Friday Afternoon

Angela had shipped almost all of her stuff home, but it wasn't time to leave for her flight yet. The last of her luggage was stacked just inside the cabin living room. Outside the cabin, she sat on the ground near the campfire, poking at the ashes with a stick and thinking.

Bel quite likely hadn't been told. But Anders knew, and since he and Angela were in the same cabin anyway, it was hard to miss. So he cautiously approached Angela, keeping his distance so as to not alarm her. "Um. Hi," he said.

Angela glanced up curiously. She hadn't really talked to Belthazor since he kidnapped her.

But she could almost believe he had changed. Maybe.

"Hi," she said, flatly.

[demonbelthazor]

"I saw you were leaving," Bel said awkwardly. "And I just wanted to tell you I'm sorry. About what happened."

Angela's eyes went back to the ashes. "Yeah, I heard that wasn't exactly you anyhow," she said. "But thanks for apologizing."

[demonbelthazor]

"It was kinda me," Bel admitted. "I mean, the Source was possessing me, but he kinda absorbed how I felt about Marty and acted on it. And the best way to get to him was through you, so. . . ." Wow, the ground was fascinating. "I never would've done that to you, though."

"That's good to know," Angela said, wishing people would be a little less honest about things like demonic possession. "And I get that you and Marty weren't best friends. I just didn't think you'd take it out on me."

[demonbelthazor]

"I wouldn't. The Source. . . ." Bel shrugged helplessly. "I just wanted to say I was sorry before you left. And tell you you don't have to be afraid of me, you or Marty. I wouldn't expect you to trust me at all, but. . . ." He sighed and ran his hand through his hair. "If there's anything I can ever do to make it up to you somehow, tell me and I'll do it."

Angela nodded silently for a moment, taking it in. "All I can ask you?" she said tentatively. "Just .. be a good man. Phoebe deserves that."

"And thank you for apologizing."

[demonbelthazor]

"I will," Bel said solemnly. "I want to be good. I want to do good. And thanks for accepting the apology. I wouldn't blame you if you didn't, but thanks."

[chasingangela]

"It feels better to leave without being angry at people here still," Angela said, not sure if that made sense. "I just want to let the past be over with."

[OOC: Heading offline for a bit.]

"Me, too," Bel agreed. "Believe me, if there was any way I could undo some things, I'd do it. But the best I can do is live with it and try to make amends where I can."

[ooc: I'm about to board a flight myself. :) ]

"I get that," Angela said. "And ... good luck."

"Thanks," Bel said. "Take care. I'll, um, let you get back to your poking."

That made Angela laugh. "It's very important," she said seriously. "I'll see you ... you know. Around."
