I've been home for 2 1/2 days with a sick Leo. Monday morning I got a call at work from his daycare saying they thought he had chicken pox. I picked him up and took him directly to the doctor, and she said it probably wasn't chicken pox, just a rash from a viral infection. Leo is sick..again. I took him to the doctor yesterday and the only lady there was a new nurse practitioner. I am less than a fan of her. Leo is coughing a lot, so she had him do a nebulizer treatment. I was there with him alone and of course he fought it. She prescribed a cough syrup, which so far does not seem to help. It seems as if right now everyone is sick or has been sick sometime in the past month. Leo has his very first ear infection. Ron took him to the doctor yesterday where he was prescribed antibiotics for the first time. I'm so tired of being sick. For the past week, I have been taking antibiotics for strep throat. Yesterday and today I've had horrible stomach cramps and some other nasty side effects. This flu is still dragging on (and dragging me down). My body is getting so tired of being sick and beat up. Today Ron is finally feeling mostly better, so that gives me hope. I feel like the cold is leaving me. It has turned into a slight cough, but at least I can breath out of my nose.
