I talked to Jeff today, after hearing from Marilyn that Jeff's teenage daughter had run away from home, poor man. They did contact the police and had her declared a runaway legally. That way it's easier to deal with anyone who harbors her (it becomes illegal to do so). They don't want her in the system, for many reasons, obviously. Mainly, they don ( Read more... )

Marilyn and I tried to actually start our day by getting pedicures (which we really needed). But we headed directly to our Nail shop only to discover they don't open until 10:00 a.m. We've never gone first thing in the morning, I guess, so we had no clue they didn't open up until then! This week has been difficult. Recently (over many weeks) I've noticed memory problems. One of the reasons I want to totally avoid statins (which I believe are POISON, anyway). But there are other reasons for memory loss -- I'll go into that in more detail another time ( Read more... )

We went for a drive to Sauvie Island today -- Marilyn was hoping Kruger Farm would be open, but it's too soon. She's out of her Candied Jalapenos (it's Kruger's brand) and she was hoping to get more... I don't think they open again until April (but I could be wrong).
