Marilyn has been sick with a bug (flu?) since Wednesday. I mean really sick. I sat up with her all night (until 4:00) Wednesday night. (She on the sofa and me in my family room chair.)

A true sign of how sick she is? We both missed the annual Board Meeting last night (Thursday). Astonishing, right?

I'm wide awake (and listening to Marilyn sleeping beside me). We're both in our family room. I'm in my overstuffed chair, which has two ottomans directly in front of it. I put in a rather bad night last night. The shingles are here to stay, it seems -- and still hurt like I can never manage to express. Some days are better than others (as are some nights).
