First off, I managed to break my hair brush. I've had it forever and a day -- I can't even recall when I bought it. It was a Conair Tourmaline Ceramic brush. I got one like it, but slightly different. Then I got another Conair brush that's a Tourmaline Ionic with a Gelgrip. I like both, but still feel bad about my original hair brush! Hahaha. Very, VERY early morning -- up at 5:00 a.m. and off to Amazon in Troutdale by 6:00 (6:00-ish). It was chilly this morning, so glad I dressed warmly in casual uniform clothes.

Marilyn and I saw an amazing movie tonight, "The Door in the Floor," featuring Jeff Bridges and Kim Basinger. Bridges has become one of our finest actors. I read a review that said this was Basinger's finest work. It was a fascinating film, based on one third of an Irving book ( Read more... )

First off, our niece, Candy (Sue's daughter -- they live together) just lost her dear friend Sharla. They've been friends forever (a long time, like our friendship with Mitch).
