Hello all.  I'm Leslie, and I have spastic diplegic CP. For the most part, the only way you can tell is how I walk with my left foot turned in, and that's only because of lots of surgery and PT when I was a kid.  I have what I like to call the balance of a "three legged chair" which is to say, none.  I tire out walking long distances, and stairs, ( Read more... )

Hi again. I posted a question a while ago about where adults with CP go... Currently just going with an orthopedic doctor, Vocational Rehabilitation is setting it up... I am now 19. I walk with crutches, and if it wasn’t for my coach donating a sports wheelchair, I wouldn’t be able to function. My insurance, covers zippo, so I'm stuck with muscles that are now driving me nuts. I will agree my therapy wasn’t top notch through the school district, but at least it was something.
