When the crazy catches up with you
My crazy friend stopped by a the cemetery today. Unexpectedly. She had her youngest son with her, the one that told me to F-U last time he was here and stayed over. (Just before they left he threw a rock at me and missed, so he's still as charming as ever).
She stayed for about 2 hours and told me her tale of woe, how she is now in trouble with a whole slew of agencies and may be in serious legal trouble for how she handled the money in her non profit. And my Cuz, who was with me as she recounted her tail of woe, thinks she's lying and hiding a lot of what she's saying. Which she may well be. I know she has serious issues with dicerning the truth now. She's in deep kaka I think.
I started this yesterday and I'm not sure where I was going with it. I think I just wanted to make a note of things as they stand with her, for posterity. She told me last year the reason she wanted to move out here to where her son was going to school was because his girlfriend had gotten pregnant and she wanted to keep the baby. She thought she would take care of the baby so he could go to school still. (hes on an amazing all expense paid scholarship for 4 years). At the time she told me he was just stressed out. I told her she was nuts and she needed to let him live his life (not knowing the baby thing) but thinking about it for half a moment, wtf was she going to do, bring her insane brood of 3 other kids all with issues here AND take care of a baby? All while running around trying to do her movie? WTF? In the end the gf got an abortion, her second, and is now on some major contraception. Oy.
So much of what she says makes little sense. I have to think she's been laundering money through her non profit in some way shape or form. I know she has borrowed money over the years from various people, and she always needs to pay people back, whether she does or not I dont know. Yet she still can travel hither and yon to do what she wants. With and without kids. It's no wonder she's being investigated. Who initiated the investigation? What will come of it? I'll have to keep you posted. Right now she needs a really good lawyer.. but oh hell, she's looking to buy property in Maine. Yeah... because she might be getting some inheritence, so it has to go into buying property. Like that's worked out well for her before.... sigh.
And in other news, I'm not sleeping well. Last night I didnt' get to sleep until 3am. And in other other news, this damn thing didnt' post, so now I have to figure out why. F- LJ.
