The hungry nine

Ryther's company party, which was going to have abou 24 attendees, what whittled down to a brave group of 9 from the snowstorm that crippled DC yesterday. Luckily we only got about 4-5 inches here, but further south got more, and a number of poeple who tried to make it turned around or just cancleled outright. Spinouts and ungoldy slow travel time weeded out some. Lack of babysitters others. But the 9 that did show had our own private party, with open bar because, wth, right? Too bad I don't drink. Mean while the wind whipped outside with blizzard force and we were served delicious appatizer pizzas and a 4 course meal. Yum yum. I had pork somethingorother.... which I took half of home becasue by then I was stuffed. And by the time we got home the storm was winding down, the plowes had actually been out... and by morning the sun was shining and the birds may well have been singing.

My doctor didnt really have much to say, other than to ask me if I would be happy if I had a CAT scan. I think that's what I'm going to get, not an MRI. I said yes, because I am afraid they are missing something. So they are going to call me. We'll see. If this comes back clear, I guess I have no idea what some of the aches and pains are, but if I can say it's not cancer, I guess I can live with that. I'm just afraid I have somethign because I have like a million symptoms that 'could' be one of those 'silent killers' though how I'm ever supposed to know in the future if I have somethign for real I have no idea. One day at a time I guess.

Doing a small painting (copy) since I cant seem to get my shit together to do an original painting, though I did do a small cow head a few weeks ago. I was so blown over by the Dutch exhibit at the MFA, I wanted to take a stab at something from that.
