So the ground finally is starting to firm up a bit, overnight at least. There is so much moisture in the ground that if it does get really cold, and 'if' seems to be a necessary word to add, I imagine the frost will go very deep. So strange to me that you still have leaves. Ours have been gone now for at least a month . . .

We have 16 acres of leaves. It takes a while to get them all taken care of. Usually until Memorial day. lol

Yeah. Our leaves are all swiftly turning into dirt at the moment. The ground is frosted hard. Raking in the fall here is intense. It's mind blowing coming from the Northwest where 2 out of 3 threes were pines -- but 9 out of 10 here are deciduous. And on top of that, the leaves all fall at once over a two week period and by week three, boom, fall is done.
