We went to see Wolverine this weekend and quite enjoyed it. I've never followed the X-Men comics but I know enough about the story to follow it and whatever I don't know my husband and son are only too happy to educate me about.

The weekend turned out to be very nice, compared to what was expected. Now it seems the rain is finally coming in. I'm ( Read more... )

Yeah, Milk is well worth a rental, and I thought Wolverine was good, despite some bad reviews. I gather the storyline isn't exact to the original origins of Wolverine, but it's a good interpretation. Sort of a movie origins I guess you might say. It goes along with the rest of the Movie universe. Good action, but not epileptic action (the preview for the new Transformers movie could really do damage to someone's nerves).

glad to hear that Wolverine was good. Wasn't it Rythter who quoted the reviews that said there were too many other characters and not enough Wolverine? I never followed X-Men, though, so any failure to be true to the comic won't be obvious to me. I want to see Milk, but guess I will have to rent that when I am alone.

I would really like to know what's so special about the bottoms of an Asiago bagel? I prefer the tops b/c they usually sprinkle extra cheese there.

I had no problem with the other characters. I think the reviewers are stupid. They just don't get comic book movies. Period.
