The problem with health care is it's two steps forward, one step back.
Anyway. All three of us overslept this morning. Not enough to miss the bus, but certainly enough to rattle us all. Don't you hate it when the alarm goes off, and you look and you have 20 minutes to snooze, then you wake up and you are 20 minutes late? How the hell does that happen? What happened to the alarm clock? Did it go off at all? And what was happening in that dream that I left? I know it was an interesting story line, some kind of mystery or something. Shame to have lost it.
Well, the Fed seems to have played it's last card, lowering interest to basically nothing. Now what? The Stock Market rewarded this move, but you can bet that will be short lived praise.
Cremation went well. No real snow this morning though it was dropping half dollar sized flakes for a few moments, that and ice for a short bit. We are supposed to get something tonight, but not much. I have wreaths to put up tomorrow.
On the subject of wreaths, there seems to have been a mysterious wreath placer that visited the cemetery last night. I counted at least 30 plain wreaths left on graves in a few areas of the cemetery, with no rhyme or reason or relationship. Interesting. I contemplated calling the police to see if there was a large theft of wreaths from anywhere in town. One has to wonder at the motivation.
I'm having shifter confusion. I drive a pick up at work with a shifter on the steering column, but my car has a shift on the floor. The dump truck is standard. Today I put the pick up back, got my car, and nearly ripped off the washer arm trying to shift into drive. It's funny in a way.
