I feel frustrated, homesick, and most of all sad this week. The world is short one wonderful woman. My friend's mother passed away on Sunday and I'm devastated so I can only begin to imagine what her family are going through. She suffered a long illness but always kept her spirits high. I had a really nice day. I actually got out of bed at a reasonable hour and showered and dressed which in itself was quite an achievement. I spoke to a community midwife on Friday who'd agreed to let me tag along with her today on her visits. I'm back on the eastern side of the pond but I wish I was still in NJ. I had the most fabulous time as my last entry indicated. I'm horribly jetlagged though. Yay! I just planned not only this weekend but the next one and am now deliriously happy. I'm off to London tomorrow to see my friend and stay over at her place tomorrow night.
