I can't get no sleep.

I went to London this evening to see my friend and I got back home around 12.30. I felt pretty guilty about how late I'd gotten up and how little revision I'd done so I studied for a couple of hours and went to bed about 2.30. And I'm still there now... at 6.20... and no sleep has been had in the interim.

I had a great time in the city though. My friend and I caught up over dinner and Starbucks before meeting up with her brother and sister-in-law and a bunch of their friends.  I love meeting up with her family as they always make we feel welcome and included and I have a really good time. Her sister-in-law remembered my penchant for bollywood movies so we've made a date to go check one out at the cinema some time. And as for my friend- I can't do her justice in words. She's amazing. Sometimes I can't believe my luck that I know some of the people I do. They really make life worthwhile. Perhaps medicine was worth it after all... if only for the chance to meet them.

This is rapidly descending into total incoherence... I'm so tired...
