It's almost the end of the semester for my two classes.  The exam for the UNIX class that meets on Monday has to be submitted (on-line thru Blackboard) by next Friday.   It involves writing three short programs - or rather the same program in three different languages.  I still need to do some of the assignments from a couple of chapters before ( Read more... )

As donal_mac_r posted yesterday, we have a car in the shop.  Yesterday afternoon when I spoke with the service manager he said it should be ready early this morning.  Ok.  I can maybe go to work late.  That's workable.  (Since I've already missed most of Monday and Tuesday.  Things aren't real busy right now.)
