So, once again, I got to have surgery for Christmas.  Fun!!  :D  I checked in on 12/21 and got to come home on 12/24.

I had one spot on my incision that never healed, so my surgeon went in to clean it up.  However, it wasn't looking good, so he ended up taking out the entire mesh that he put in last year.  He said it's all sewn up really well now, ( Read more... )

Some of our new dishes came in the mail (yay!  a box for me!), so I got them all unpacked and they're being washed right now as I type.  They're beautiful!

Finish a marathon.................................Check!

In October, I walked the Portland Marathon with my friends, Christi and Kari, and my Mom.  We finished in 7:15:41, and you can see further details HERE.

William was kind enough to drive us down and back, which was good, since we weren't really moving the next day. 

I've had a couple opportunities in the last month to observe Drunk Dialing in action (one observation, one call received).  Once you realize that the other person is drunk, it can be pretty funny, especially if they don't remember doing it the next day.

So here's my question:  Do you remember calling me?  :-)

Saw this on the email list earlier today.

Karl Redstone fell ill and passed away last night.

I will miss him dearly.  He was a good friend - always ready to flirt or share a dirty joke.  Children knew he would always have candy in his pouch.  If you've been to the Gig Harbor Renn Faire and saw The Troll, then you met him as well.

My friends, Leslie and Brent, are getting married next weekend.  (Yay!)

Last night, we had a bachelorette party for Leslie, and boy was it fun!  We started off with the standard munchies, drinks, penis-shaped decorations, embarrassing games, and gag gifts.  She now has some new props that will make for some INTERESTING nights for the two of them.  ( Read more... )
