Wild and Crazy!
My friends, Leslie and Brent, are getting married next weekend. (Yay!)
Last night, we had a bachelorette party for Leslie, and boy was it fun! We started off with the standard munchies, drinks, penis-shaped decorations, embarrassing games, and gag gifts. She now has some new props that will make for some INTERESTING nights for the two of them. LOL....
Then the stripper showed up. :D:D:D:D:D He did an excellent job. Ummmmm.... 'Nuff said. ;-)
Following that, we had some more drinks, and a couple people went home since they had to go to work on Sunday morning. The rest of us piled into Leslie's truck and went to downtown Kirkland, looking for some live music. Sadly, Leslie cannot drink alcohol due to allergies, and ended up being our Designated Driver. It's a bit messed up when the bride-to-be is the DD, but that's how it worked out. Fortunately, she had the appropriate penis-shaped headgear and was easily recognized as the bride-to-be. :-)
The first bar we went to had live music, but it was sad, depressing Irish music. Very pretty, but not what you want to listen to for a bachelorette party. We wandered around a bit, and finally settled a bar with a DJ and some fun dance music. We had some more drinks and danced until the bar shut down. Leslie was even kind enough to drive a few of us home on her way home, rather than leave us to spend the night on the hostess's couch. Awww....
William drove me back to pick up my truck this morning, and I've spent the rest of the day hanging out and snoozing. No awful hangover - just tired.
It was a great party. :-)
