It didn't seem like I was working any more than usual but when I did my timesheet on Friday it turned out I had 40 hours per week for the entire month, plus 8 hours overtime for the work I did on Memorial day AND another 2.5 hours I need to add to next month's sheet because I got back later from Fresno on Friday than anticipated ( Read more... )

My new motherboard is VERY purple, my new CPU came with this amazing heatsink and fan that I was a little worried wouldn't fit it looked so massive, everything goes together and so far WORKS. There's a bunch of software stuff I need to do (reinstall OS, essentially) but I'm going to have to leave that until I get back ( Read more... )

I got a free airshow at work yesterday! The Airshow is in town this weekend and the Blue Angels apparently like to arrive early and practice all the time. I wasn't even expecting it, which may have made my experience even greater ( Read more... )

Today my new watch battery arrived. And I very nearly stepped on it on my way out the door on the way to work. I'm not sure when they delivered it but I sure didn't hear them do so! FedEx also left a little doorhanger thingie, but didn't mark anything on it ( Read more... )

So I finally got ahold of xilin (who was sleepng, damn graveyard shift I never know when I can call and get a response or anything) and feel a bit better now.
For one, xilin had a bit more positive view of things. For one, there's supposed to be a spare, never used, should definately work, Antec power supply stashed out in the NNC HQ. Possibly inside Skadi ( ( Read more... )
