I know I hardly use you anymore but I thought you'd be the best place for this, the SKETCHBOOK 4 INVENTORY.

Art to Part With - For Haiti Aid
Back after Katrina hit, I offered some originals to encourage donations. Thanks to a reminder from highwing in the RFF Chat the other night, I'm offering the same again for Haiti disaster relief. Sketchbook 3 Inventory
My goal this year was to fill a sketchbook from cover to cover. I got off to a rough start with pages full of practice sketches and random doodles and a general dissatisfaction with what I was putting into the sketchbook. Notice that by the end of April, I had only gotten to page 7.

Overtime
It didn't seem like I was working any more than usual but when I did my timesheet on Friday it turned out I had 40 hours per week for the entire month, plus 8 hours overtime for the work I did on Memorial day AND another 2.5 hours I need to add to next month's sheet because I got back later from Fresno on Friday than anticipated ( Read more... ) -
Wicked Busy
It's been a busy couple of weeks! I've also been procrastinating on updating the ol' ElJay too so I'm just going to do it bullet post style and maybe we can get through it together.

Wow, let's see. It's been an interesting and busy few weeks. Mixed in with Christmas were two elk hunts I needed to work, one with Clayton as usual and then one by myself. A stocking?
Despite all my worries... todays presentation went off quite well. Could have been better, there's always room for improvement. But we didn't choke and Shawn's question for us wasn't a stumping stats question! Huzzah ( Read more... ) -
Brownies!
I... have made brownies. They're cooling right now, so I haven't had a chance to taste test them. I think they came out alright, though. Considering I was attempting a double recipie with a mix I couldn't seem to get completely smooth, I'm pleased that at least they didn't burn!
