Well, this summer has certainly been busy; to make it into a list, as I so often enjoy:

1. VBS, Calvary, as helper in Arts and Crafts for pre-primaries
2. VBS, Camby, as helper in Games and 3rd & 4th grades
3. Golf
4. Panama
5. Recovery from Panama; in the midst of which was an overnight college visit

It seems like every time I've been at youth group or in church, I've wanted to post the lesson here, and then when I get home, I lose the inspiration to paraphrase almost two hours of scripture citation.  So, sorry, I'll have to work on that, because they're really interesting, thought provoking (and sometimes entertaining, though that happens less ( Read more... )

Or maybe cats are the greatest invention; because I love cats.  I have seen none that aren't cute in some way; especially all big cats.

I'm sitting here in my room in front of my computer wincing a little whenever I move my right foot.  I totally tortured my feet yesterday; apparently, wearing 1-1/2-sizes-too-big rollerblades half the day before walking around in my friend's old, donated, 1-size-too-small clogs for the rest does a number on your ankles and toes--who'da thunk it?  ( Read more... )
