I had a much better day today.  The bank cheque of a £100 for the first two weeks of my sick money arrived as promised.  I went to the vet to get Jake my cat's flea treatment and a worming tablet £35 + £17 groceries = £52, gone in half an hour!  I spent the rest of the afternoon with Caroline, we cooked together, pooling resources, ending at 9pm ( Read more... )

I had a guest last night who has a dog companion. I wanted to be sure she was comfy and felt at home, but I was aprehensive about having a dog in the flat.
