A better day!
I had a much better day today. The bank cheque of a £100 for the first two weeks of my sick money arrived as promised. I went to the vet to get Jake my cat's flea treatment and a worming tablet £35 + £17 groceries = £52, gone in half an hour! I spent the rest of the afternoon with Caroline, we cooked together, pooling resources, ending at 9pm when Alexa went to bed. A pleasent day altogether, what a difference having money in your purse makes!
