Taroting experience

Been a busy day today.  Sorted C's cat out, found mine is full of fleas and he really shouldn't be, as I deflead him only 3 weeks ago.  We are both bitten to pieces.

Did Tom a Tarot reading which took me the best part of the morning.  It wasn't so much as the laying of the cards but in divining what they said and then typing the whole thing out and emailing it.  It pays to be extra careful what you say, especially when its there in black and white.  Especially when Tom is in a tight bind and is looking for the best way to get out of difficulties.  The advice needs to be encouraging, insightful and allow him to see opportunities around him that can help. Not too pacific, not too vague.  It takes a lot out of me just getting the balance right.

Did my washing and was hanging them out when J phoned with a love crisis and asked whether I'd do another reading.  I haven't even got my basic chores done out of the way yet.  Anyway I spent a good hour listening to  him, which is what he really needs.  And I promised him if I get a quiet moment later I'll try and see if there's anything helpful in the cards, later in the evening.  I can't see that there will be, quite honestly.  Sometimes you just have to 'suck it and see!' and hope for the best.

Anyway I have to clean up and spray everything with the flea spray, catch old Jakie and DO him (deflea him again) and take a good soak in the bath to calm down the bites.  Rosemary, thyme, peppermint, sage are all antiseptics, lemon grass and peppermint will cool down bites, are coolants (ie blood) and are insect repellents.  I think a nice mix of thyme and lemongrass will do the trick.

Oh well a witche's work is never done.  Ah well I must crack on!
