Finished my biggins cap. It's um, well, it's certainly a hat, and it's, uh, full of hat-ish-ness. I'm happy with how it came out, but it's certainly not the sexiest of accessories.

Much done on the partlet, have started the gathering around the neck which goes surprisingly quickly. One thing, do not set the iron too high for a partially synthetic fabric you have done several hours of hand sewing on. That was damn close.

*sighs* Why do I have to be so damn good at hand sewn rolled hems? Now any time I do it by machine I'm going to think about how much better it could look if I did it by hand. Ahh the joys of being good at the freakishly time consuming things our sub-threshold OCD focuses on ( Read more... )
