Here we are again.

I am full of pain and can't sleep, am still having dizzy spells, hallucinations and strange palpitations. I probably ought to try to go back to the doctor on Monday, but considering they've done fuck all for me so far, I'm not sure I want to waste my time and money. Also, they were supposed to refer me to a new pain management doctor two weeks ago, but I haven't heard one peep about it since. Also, the law firm handling my disability case sent me a sheaf of papers for my doctors to fill out and send them, but when I brought it to them they said that they couldn't do it for some reason, but that they'd refer me to a physical therapist and get them to do it. Again, nothing. I was also supposed to see a neurologist two months ago when all this started, but if they've called back, I sure haven't heard anything about it. I'm beginning to suspect that my doctors think of me as just a drug-seeking hypochondriac. I guess I should actually be thankful for that, since it's not like my insurance will pay for all of these specialists. Sure we don't need no healthcare reform. That's just plain turr'ism talk. This is AMURR'CA.

So anyway. At least I have Pokemon to keep me company while I wait for sleep's embrace. After completing White with Liz Lemon, I transferred all of her good Pokemon and legendaries over to my Black game (where I'm seriously kicking everyone's ass.), and now have restarted as my Morrowind character, Lenore. She's very high-maintenance, graceful and sophisticated (or at least she imagines herself to be), and likes her Pokemon to reflect her ideas of proper culture. At the moment, she's in Driftveil City, and her team currently consists of Almond the female Tranquill, Madame V. the Victini, Reginald the male Servine, Soprano the female Palpitoad (who is not allowed to evolve), Sir Edmund the male Zorua, and Old Lace the female Whirlipede. Out of all of them, I think that only Reginald, Sir Edmund (who may be renamed) and Almond will remain permanent members of the team. I'm not sure what her final team will be, but I'm kind of leaning towards Frillish as her Water-type.

In other news, I'm still totally hooked on MLP:FiM, and now? My parents are, too. Yes, both of them. Also, as of the most recent episode, I'm convinced that Princess Celestia is an internet troll in her spare time, and that Pinkie Pie may be some form of demigoddess, or at the very least needs to lay off the meth. Poor Twilight Sparkle, meanwhile, really needs to see somepony about anti-anxiety meds.

In further TV-related news, I've finally gotten around to watching the first three episodes of Jeri Ryan's new show, Body of Proof. I'll ramble more about it later, but for now let me just say that for the most part, I'm enjoying it. Jeri's gotten prettier with age, her character is fun, and I find it funny that she's now playing a sort of mentor role to this brilliant yet extremely socially awkward woman who really doesn't see the point of social graces and would rather focus on work and SCIENCE. Sound familiar? Anyway, I love Megan, I love Kate, and Curtis, Ethan, Bud and Samantha. I mildly dislike Peter and his smug face, and intensely dislike Lacey, who makes Julie from Shark look like a true saint among teenagers. Anyway, I look forward to the inevitable badfic, shipwars and femmeslash fandom that follows Jeri Ryan everywhere.

Anyway, that killed some time and provided a fun distraction from the insomnia and pain. Only a few more hours until sunrise.

lol depression, disability, tv, health, doctors, pokemon, mlp, sick, body of proof, ramblings, my little pony
