Ponies and wizards and dachshunds!
I finally made it out to the stables the other day, and gave Sharif a good grooming. I also took some great pictures of Cowgirl and Little Foot, so that was a nice bonus.
Speaking of pictures, dad ordered a nice wizard's robe on Wednesday, and it arrived on Thursday. Today he wore it to UWF's Festival on the Greens, where he mostly hung out at the Philosophy table, let people take their pictures with him, played along with the Society for Creative Anachronism (who pretended he was a fearful necromancer), and generally nerded it up. XD I, meanwhile, took Sokka and strolled around the festival, buying cool handmade stuff here and there, getting fliers for various nerdy events, talking with fellow geeks, catching up with friends, playing with the dogs I met and letting people play with Sokka, who loved every minute of it. Also, there were funnel cakes. In short, it was an awesome day. I'm going to be paying for it for the next week, but it was totally worth it.
Dad was modeling his new wizard robes within ten minutes of receiving them, but Baron wanted to be in the picture as well.
Little Foot still thinks he's a stud. Cowgirl is not impressed.
