Welp, I suppose it's time for my monthly update.

Fic is eating my brain. And even just plotting things out is taking one hell of an effort. Why the bloody hell did I decide a fusion fic was a good idea?

( Sometimes... I don't even know. I got nothin'. Cut for a fair bit of cursing and ranting. )

I have yet to make any real progress with my photos, other than to recover about 90% of them. Which, I guess, counts, but eh. I would like to be able to take the time to sort through them, stitch the many panoramas, and post things.

Buuut, I have a feeling that will take a few more days.

So I was informed today, out of the blue, by the bossman that he submitted my abstract for a talk on May 13th. No real wiggle room to get out of it. *facepalm ( Read more... )

Yeah. Totally meant to be productive today. It kinda didn't work out that way. I wound up spending two and a half hours trying to take pictures of my latest sample, and not getting much that's usable. And then proceeded to hang out for an hour over lunch with a friend, and then go tan by the pool at her place ( Read more... )

Still can't find a good way to edit the NASA proposal. Argh, such utter ridiculousness. And I nearly FUBAR'd my experiment. Which would have really been bad, cause I have very little sample left for this one. And grading is being a bitch ( Read more... )
