Yesterday I really thought that things were looking good, as far as getting free time with the baby around. And I still haven't lost hope, but today has been hard. I had planned on spending today organizing the nursery and taking pictures of some things to share, but last night I had to make a trip to the doctor because my hands, feet and face were swelling. My vital signs are fine and baby looks healthy, but I've been put on 24 hours of strict rest to reduce the swelling. I'm not allowed on my feet for more ( Read more... )

This weekend I got hit by the nesting bug, right at the 30 week mark. I had heard that it can make you rather manic, but chalked it up to exaggeration. Well, it's not. The contest has officially ended, and of course I came nowhere near winning. But I have no regrets, as the entries were AMAZING, there were a ton of them, and I know I'll get a lot of use out of this outfit. I'm not sure I would have bothered making this if not for the contest.
