Part of the reason why I love reading about the different ways people write is because I learn a lot about my own writing. Normally I'll come across a post and there might be one or two things the OP talks about which I find true for myself, and that's cool, because someone Out There does the same thing I do. Pretty neat, if you ask me!

I recently read Dr. Merlin's article on sockpuppets, Sock It to Me, and I gotta say I had no idea people like this actually exist :/ I can understand the wanting attention thing - to an extent - but creating pseudo personae to praise yourself and your work?
