Part of the reason why I love reading about the different ways people write is because I learn a lot about my own writing. Normally I'll come across a post and there might be one or two things the OP talks about which I find true for myself, and that's cool, because someone Out There does the same thing I do. Pretty neat, if you ask me!

The question: Why aren't there more Mark/Derek (slash, in general?) fics in the GA fandom?

For example, take Mark and Lexie from Grey's Anatomy. There's no two ways on how they hooked up: Lexie shows up demanding sex and Mark goes with it (after initially saying no).
