Don't be afraid of the pandemic flu;
Just take a few precautions, if you please.
There's plenty of things anybody can do,
Like covering your nose before you sneeze.
Please wash your hands with water and soap

And careless virus vectors are just rude.

So please admit that you should go to bed.

And sleep's more fun when you don't wake up dead.
They say that giving's better than receiving,
And if you agree, I think you should be leaving.
If you don't give it to me, then I won't give it to you,
And we'll all be okay, despite the pandemic flu.
You shouldn't freak out if you think that you're sick,
Just make some chicken soup and check the news.
If you need to do something else, they should tell you quick,
And the ER just gives most of us the blues.

Don't buy up all the bread because you're scared.
