First auction done, all hail! Also, discount CD.

I have successfully closed my first art auction! EVERYBODY DANCE! Of the five pieces listed, four of them sold, for a total of $38.00. (I need to make somewhere around $150 to really off-set plane fares; this is a reasonable start, especially given that I have a lot more stuff to offer up, in various forums.) I'm going to be re-listing the one piece that didn't sell in auction #3, and probably closing auction #2 tomorrow morning.

(In case you missed it, auction #2 is right over here. Feel free to ask any questions that you might have. Questions make me a generally happy blonde girl.)

In the process of cleaning off my art supply shelves to try to figure out where the heck I've put everything, I found a copy of Pretty Little Dead Girl which has been, well, slightly crunched. Just the jewel case -- the CD inside is fine -- but still, it's crunched enough that I wouldn't feel comfortable either sending it to a dealer or attempting to sell it at full price to somebody who doesn't know what they're getting. So if you've been looking for a copy of PLDG in a slightly lower price range? This one is $5.00, plus shipping (so $6.50) to whomever asks for it. Just drop a comment here if you're interested.

In other news, I've started doing what appears to be a set of twelve sketches of my wee chibi death-cheerleader (aka, 'Mel') -- one for every month of the year. I would be more disturbed by this if she weren't a) sickeningly fun to draw, b) really, really cute, and c) heavily armed, which makes me inclined to go along with whatever she wants from me.

Life is good.
